Work Permits for Students
To obtain a work permit students must be able to keep up with their academic work and be signed off by parents and the issuing agency. In the case of homeschool students, the issuing agency can be the school district. To obtain a work permit follow the instructions here depending on if you want a work permit during the school year or during the summer.

Obtaining a Work Permit during the School year

1. Fill out a Work Permit application
a. Student Section
b. Employer Section
c. Parent Section
2. Schedule appointment with the Sequoia Union High School District Student Services Dept
a. Bring Application
b. Bring ID
c. Affidavit showing Parent is the Administrator
d. Parent and student must attend meeting
.
Work permit is processed in 15 minutes. It can take up to 48 hours in some districts.

1. Walk into the Sequoia Union High School District Student Services Dept
2. Fill out an application
Work permits are given immediately.
